I knew, or at least I thought I did,
But things can change without a notice
What people feel and know one day
Can and will be different the next
Granted, it's for the good…sometimes
When a particular evil, for example,
Recedes and exists no more
But this is only one of few instances
"The more things change the more the stay the same,"
They say. I cannot say that I agree with this opinion.
Now it seems so different, not at all the same.
But what is there to do when this turn is made?
One can only hope tomorrow will bring a better change,
Change that will, at least for a moment, rid any sorrow.
